摘要
This paper studies the characteristics of the contribution and seasonal changes of organic carbon isotope composition(delta C-13) in the Dongjiang River and its drainage basin. The delta C-13 values of suspended matter (-27.8%0 to 17.8%0) are heavy compared to detritus of higher plants. The compositional characteristics of POC and POC-delta C-13 indicates that suspended matter mainly originates from eroded soil rather than plant. In Dongjiang River drainage basin, POC of suspended matter was greatly affected by depth soil, its POC-613C is "heavier". And its change trend was consistent with the isoline of soil erosion.
