Crisis management in construction project

A crisis is a situation faced by an individual, group or organization which they are unable to cope with by use of normal routine procedures and in which stress is created by sudden change. This paper discusses the various types of crises that can arise within construction and engineering projects and divides crisis management into seven distinct phases: detection, diagnosis, decisionmaking, implementation, feedback, recovery, and learning. Each of these phases must be managed effectively if the crisis management process is to be successful. Furthermore, typical model of crisis behavior are found by the various type of crises and the dynamics of crisis management.
