摘要
Mechanical product's design can be divided into four stages that is task clarification, conceptual design, practical design and detailed design. The conceptual design is the most important and innovative stage of the four design stages. This paper deals with functional analysis and solutions of a table jaw and its conceptual design based on the theory of functional principle design. An innovative design method of a mechanical product is also discussed by means of functional principle design.
