摘要：

Widely used IT System of Polish State Forests National Holding that is currently supported with forest digital map (LMN) allows advanced processing of digital data. LMN, which contains complete information about forest in digital form, allows using computation tools for realisation of planning and projecting tasks or modeling of forest ecosystems processes. This paper presents capabilities Of Ming Expert Systems and GIS in forestry. The usefulness and effectiveness of Expert Systems and GIS in the process of projecting of bicycle trails in forest are discussed.
