摘要：

Recent research has pointed out that EIS development is a complex task that requires huge integration between IS area and business. This paper aims to indentify the role of social aspects such as trust, commitment, communication and payoff division on cooperation in that context. Variables concerning time were also tested since they are perceived as an impact factor on this issue. The relational factors and time variables were analyzed by means of a questionnaire with typical questions used in other similar studies and applied to 28 Brazilian companies of commerce, industry and service sectors. Results showed that trust and cooperation are perceived equally by the two professional's groups and they also associate cooperation with the other relational factors studied here.
