摘要
RATP and CNIM are developing the High Speed Passenger Conveyor. It is an accelerating moving walkway using speed variation mechanisms only at the required locations in order to limit increase cost when compared to a conventional passenger conveyor. The various critical problems related to the concept of accelerating moving walkway have been successfully solved. This paper presents the solution adopted as well as the development and testing programs, A prototype will be installed in Paris in 1998.
