摘要：
Management of thoracic trauma involves the clinical skills of ER, OR, PACU and ICU personnel. Appropriate anaesthetic, surgical and intensive care techniques are often specific for the nature of injury. The first 24 hours is a time for intense monitoring and aggressive intervention; a beneficial effect on outcome requires optimal utilization of resources.
