Contribution of Finance Development to the Economy Growth in Hubei Province

Finance is the first and sustainable motive force of regional economic development with the modem market economy advancement. The experience of financial development of domestic and international area tells us, finance development can, to some extent, promote the local economy growth effectively. This paper is based on relevant theories of finance development, analyses empirically the current situations of economy and finance development of Hubei Province, and discusses the contribution of finance development to Hubei economic development through Granger Causal examination. Then it points out that the effective financial policy is benefit to fascinate the development of Hubei economy prominently. On this basis, the paper puts forward some concrete suggestions on financial development.
