摘要
Individual interpersonal psychotherapy, alone or in combination with pharmacological therapy, has proved effective in the treatment of late-life depression. In this paper we present an application of interpersonal psychotherapy in a group format (IPT-G) to treat depressed elderly patients and describe how this individual therapy was adapted to a group setting. The group format seems to lend itself to the interpersonal approach and provides some advantages over the individual setting.P Copyright (C) 2002 John Wiley Sons, Ltd.
