摘要
The globalization processes that are increasingly emerging lead to the formation of new and powerful alliances between countries in different regions of the world. The most complex integration is a characteristic for the European Union. Romania's acceptance of the EU in January 2007 unquestionably ousted the adjustment of the national economy, including the food sector, to the norms and standards of the Common Market. Ensuring food security for each country, as well as developing the rural sector, where a significant part of the population is active, is a major desideratum that should be prioritized in micro- and macroeconomic decisions.
