摘要
The NAD kinase activity was measured throughout its development in whole body extracts of the Colorado potato beetle Leptinotarsa decemlineata. Systematic alterations in the level of enzyme activity that correlate with change of developmental phases were determined. Ten NAD kinase molecular forms with approximate M(r) values from 80,000 to 1,000,000 were revealed using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Every developmental phase had its own profile of the enzyme forms, which changed after the transition to the next phase. The most striking differences in the spectrum of NAD kinase multiple forms occurred in postemryogenesis and during metamorphosis from larva to pupa. In L. decemlineata cells, NAD kinase is presented as an equilibrium system of dissociating and associating oligomers.
