Numerical Modelling of Thermomechanic Couplings in Frictional Contact: Application to Tire Rolling

摘要
This paper presents the modelling of a body in rolling contact taking into account 3D finite deformation (Mooney-Rivlin or Yeoh), dynamics, heterogeneities of the material, friction, thermomechanical coupling in the contact zone: the material properties do not depend on temperature, but friction law takes thermal effect into account. We consider two numerical approaches: a classical one, using Lagrangian formulation for the mechanical and thermal problems and the steady-state rolling approach (Eulerian/Lagrangian approach) for the mechanical problem associated to a Lagrangian approach for the thermal problem
