摘要
Nitrogen is becoming the key pollution component of the water-soil system. It is useful to control the pollution of the contaminated vadose zone, which can effectively reduce the potential threat of nitrogen to groundwater quality. Laboratory column experiments were conducted with contaminated soil by controlling the initial and operating conditions. Results show that the efficiency of reaeration and the moisture content are the two important factors which affect the bio-reaction process. Nitrite is accumulated under the conditions of intermittent oxygen supply, pH 8 and 25-30 degrees C. The short-cut denitrification can be used for pollution treatment of nitrogen in the vadose zone.
