Metamaterial Antennas and Finlines Using Full Wave Analysis

摘要
Metamaterials are defined as artificial effectively non-homogeneous electromagnetic structures with desired anisotropic dielectric and magnetic characteristics. In this paper the bilateral fin line and planar antennas with EBG - Electromagnetic Band Gap - metamaterial substrate are analyzed using the full wave TTL - Transverse Transmission Line, method. In order to analyze these structures the effective dielectric constant, the attenuation constant and the pattern fields are determined. The results obtained for these applications and the conclusions are presented.
