Book contents' browsing and retrieval have been greatly facilitated by its Table-of-Contents (ToC) and Index, respectively. Unfortunately, today's video lacks such powerful mechanisms. In this paper, we explore and present novel techniques for constructing video ToC and Index. Furthermore, rue explore the relationship between video browsing and retrieval and propose a unified framework to incorporate both entities in a seamless way. Experimental results on real-world video clips justify our proposed framework for providing efficient access to video content.
