The mechanism of transformations of 4,4-dimethylpentene-1 by the action of pulsed IR laser radiation under collisional conditions

摘要
The mechanism of 4,4-dimethylpentene-1 transformations upon pulsed IR laser excitation in the collisional mode was studied. The main pathways of molecular transformations are C3H6 elimination reaction (1) and C-C3H5 bond breaking reaction (2). The ratio of product yields of these reactions Y(2)/Y(1) = 2.6 +/- 0.3 is 2.6 +/- 0.3 at 1080 K. Based on experimental results, the activation energy of reaction (1) was evaluated as E-1 = 212 +/- 20 kJ/mol. The data on the transformation mechanism under conditions of thermal equilibrium of 4,4-dimethylpentene- 1 molecules are compared with those obtained for C(3)H(5)Z(CH3)(3) molecules (Z = Si, Ge, or Sn).
