Analysis of the Ion Background in an Acceleration Mass Spectrometer of the Siberian Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences

摘要：
The mechanisms of ion background passage in an acceleration mass spectrometer are investigated. It is shown that the background level is controlled by the interaction between ions and residual gas atoms. An effective method is proposed for Suppressing the ion background.
