摘要
Collatz problem is an unresolved hypothesis in mathematics: Consider any natural number, if even, divide it by two, if odd multiply by three and add one, and iteratively repeat the procedure. The hypothesis says that after a final number of steps the procedure produces number one. In this paper we look at a new perspective on how to obtain a counterexample to the hypothesis by evolution of numbers represented as binary strings.
