Establishment of Normal Equations for High Speed Rocket Sled Dynamics

摘要
The dynamical characters of high speed rocket sled determined the tested item's vibrations, which would affect the test results. To predict and gain the velocities and accelerations of sled and tested item, mathematical models for rocket sled motion should be established. So in allusion to the absence of the high speed rocket sled dynamics model, the normal six degrees dynamical equations were established in this paper according with the basic theory of rigid body dynamics and exterior ballistics. These equations were built in ten coordinate systems, which could deal with nonlinear forces such as rocket thrust, aerodynamic, rail-sled contact force and braking impact force. These equations were derived and written in vector, matrix and scalar forms, which can be used in computer codes. The models solve the problem of calculating the dynamic characters for rocket sled and support the theory base for rocket sled design and load prediction, which have theoretical and applying importance.
