摘要
Relevant records of grassland and water birds in northern plateau of Santa Catarina, Brazil. We provide information on little known grassland birds that occurs in open landscapes of the state of Santa Catarina, southern Brazil. The study site is located in the municipality of Itaiopolis, in a locality known as "Campo Grande", were a small portion of natural grassland remained in a landscape dominated by pine plantation, agriculture and fragments of Parana Pine Forest. We recorded the Silver Teal Anas versicolor, Rosy-billed Pochard Netta peposaca, Masked Duck Nomonyx dominica, Anhinga Anhinga anhinga, Giant Snipe Gallinago undulata, Sickle-winged Nightjar Eleothreptus anomalus, White-vented Violetear Colibri serrirostris, Black-and-White Monjita Xolmis dominicanus, Hellmayr's Pipit Anthus hellmayri, Stripe-tailed Yellow-Finch Sicalis citrine and Tawny-bellied Seedeater Sporophila hypoxantha.
