摘要
The use of solar energy as a means to obtain hot water, and to provide additional heating for residential and public buildings, is nowadays increasingly encouraged because of the pressing need to save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Methods used to install solar energy receivers (collectors) to make them as efficient as possible are presented, and a special emphasis is placed on their inclination and orientation. In simple systems, the kit formed of the following units is used to obtain hot sanitary water: solar energy receivers, fastening structure, heat storage unit, solar pumping unit, and other linking and safety equipment. In case of bigger combined systems with additional heating, the heat tank must also be added as the solar energy is not always at our disposal. The hot water is prepared in special tank units which reduces the possibility of contracting the legionnaires' disease, while other advantages are their reliability, and lower generation of scale and corrosion in pipes, thanks to lower temperature.
