Perspectives on globalization and outsourcing

The impact of outsourcing, globalization and offshoring on the microwave and radio frequency engineering community is discussed. Economic globalization constitutes integration of national economies into the international economy through trade, direct foreign investment, short-term capital flows, international flow of workers and flow of technology. As prosperity increases in underdeveloped areas, new markets for goods and services will be created, that may raise the possibility of increased global economic activity. It is suggested that choice of career should be based on passion and not on location or money and better technologies can be created to create the future growth, that can be effective in future.
