摘要
Nowadays Wireless sensor network achieve much attention due to its several real time applications like in military works, fire detection, temperature sensing etc. Sensor nodes are randomly distributed in the network and have limited energy. Due to this energy constraint, efficient routing protocol comes into picture. A sensor node senses the environment and generated the data. It sends the data to the sink with the help of nodes which are closer to the sink. Probability of depleting the energy of nodes near the sink increases and hence decreases the network lifetime. Mobile sink somehow solves this problem. In the proposed protocol, sensor nodes first get the updated position of the sink and then the data are directly sent to the sink. This protocol is rendezvous based routing protocol in which a rendezvous region is constructed in the middle of the network. This rendezvous region partitions the whole network area and distribute the network load among the sensor nodes which increases the network lifetime. Nodes inside this rendezvous region are divided into different clusters. Each cluster have one cluster head(CH) which is responsible for communication among different clusters. Sink sends its updated location information inside this rendezvous region, and when the sensor node wants to send the data it retrieves the sink's current location information from this rendezvous area and directly sends the data to the sink.
