Image Compression with Optimal Traversal using Wavelet and Percolation Theories

摘要
In this paper, we present a new coding scheme for adaptive transmission of image data in the context of cloud gaming. The merit of our approach is to adapt efficiently to the diversity of the devices that can be used to access to the gaming platform. Particularly, we show that our scheme fits with the stringent requirements imposed by the lack of CPU, memory, and storage resources in the mobile devices. Experiments carried out on real image demonstrate that our approach leads to increased life time of the mobile battery while preserving an acceptable quality of the transmitted image.
