摘要
Experimental study on a cylindrical sector dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is presented. Two configurations of the DRA fed with a 50 Omega microstrip transmission line are discussed which excites the broadside transverse magnetic modes TM128 and TM22 delta respectively. The return loss, input impedance and radiation patterns are studied. VSWR bandwidths of 12.35 % and 17.82 % are obtained for configurations 1 and 2 respectively and the radiation patterns are found to be broad over the entire bandwidth.
