摘要
In this paper, a new strategy is presented for fast mitigation of system's harmonics using active shunt power filter. In the first section, the harmonic component of the load current is detected by applying the synchronous reference frame theory. The contribution of this section is to improve the traditional low-pass filter with window method. The ability of this technique is suppression of the Gibbs phenomenon and optimal windowing of current signal. In the second section, the detected harmonic is provided as reference signal of the power filter. The difference between the reference signal and the actual filter current is applied to the space vector controller. The controller is based on the space vector modulation. The function of the controller is to determine the appropriate switching states. Consequently, switching losses of the inverter are reduced. The proposed method is simulated in MATLAB software. The results show the accurate tracking of the reference current (harmonic component of load current) by the shunt active power filter.
