摘要
The development of the technical equipment of the experiment made it possible to visualize more short lived small scale elements of the flow, such as a fine circular veil and streamers and fine jets in the accepting liquid bulk, and to show their reproducibility. The investigation of fine details of transport processes for a drop falling into a liquid is of importance for solving problems of ecology. The detailing of flow configuration has a special significance for perfecting algorithms of data processing because the wavelength of a probing electromagnetic wave in highly resolving satellite radars is comparable to that of short capillary waves and the sizes of cavities formed when drops fall. The coordination of space-time scales of perturbations on the lateral crown surface shows that they can be considered as groups of capillary waves with a characteristic type of dispersion relation.
