摘要
A toolbox about multivariate grey relational analysis is made by using MATLAB, and it is applied to make a relational analysis of multivariate-grey against the statistics data which collected from 31 regions in China during 1997-2006. Several socioeconomic factors which connected with traffic accident index most closely are found among the 18 socioeconomic factors. Based on this, harm of traffic accidents happened in 31 regions of China from 1997 to 2006 is comprehensively evaluated. The research suggests that socioeconomic factors such as "gross regional product" and "total regional passenger-kilometers" in every region has the greatest impact on the four index -the number of traffic accidents, the number of deaths, the number of injures, the losses converted into cash. The comprehensive evaluation on the harm of traffic accidents in 31 regions by taking more "gross regional product" and "total regional passenger-kilometers" into account is more reasonable than by taking into account the four traffic accident factors. It can be concluded that the most serious traffic accidents happened in Guangdong, Zhejiang and Fuji-an during 1997-2006. The research may be a reference for traffic management departments.
