On energy-minimization in ferromagnetism controlled by applied fields

摘要
In this paper, we study the minimization problem for a "no-exchange" energy in ferromagnetism with applied field taken as a control parameter. We show that any feasible magnetization configuration can be realized as energy-minimizer for some energy with an appropriately adjusted applied field. Similar results are also obtained for the minimizers of the dual functionals controlled by applied fields. Special interesting cases are studied for certain applied fields and physical domains.
