Technology of rock protection from freezing out in mining gold placer deposits of Siberia

摘要
It is generalized in the report authors' experience of technology application for preventing rocks from freezing out in mining gold placer deposits of Siberia by dredging, namely, application of technical means of antifiltering and thermal protection on the base of screens and curtains made of polymer films and chemical reagents such as water-soluble polymers, artificial snow, polymer and water-base aerial foams. Methods of parameters calculation and optimization for such a wide-spread protection means as so called ''0 degrees C screening effect'' technology are given in the report Thermo-physical task of freezing out of rocks saturated with reagent solutions having freezing points at temperatures below 0 degrees C is considered. Thechno-economic and ecological comparison of methods used for rock protection from freezing out and those investigated is made.
