THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION AS PART OF THE WORLD ECONOMY AFTER THE END ECONOMIC CRISIS

摘要
As a result of piling up structural disfunctionalities world economy has suffered a severe drawback since 2008, starting from a subprime mortgage crisis on the US real-estate market. Not only USA has to fill in the gaps from its own financial "black hole" but soon turn out that other major economies across the world also shared almost the same inabilities especially in the estate markets and generally at macro-economic scale. Recovery from the global financial crisis remains fragile. Persistent risks to economic health include: high unemployment, debt and low growth in developed countries, and access to financing for developing countries. The global economy is expected to expand 2.5 in 2012 and 3.1 percent in 2013, according to the World Bank's January 2012 Global Economic Prospects update. Developing country growth has been revised down to 5.4 for 2012, while high-income country growth is now expected to come in at 1.4 percent. World trade, which expanded by an estimated 6.6 percent in 2011, will grow only 4.7 percent in 2012, before strengthening to 6.8 percent in 2013. The main effect of the crisis that would be accomodated on the long term is the pshycological influence over the investors, especially the large ones (corporations, gouvernments). Unfortunately, it was the first major occuring of the risk of ceasing payments in relation with the largest economy of the world. And the consequences were almost immediate and foreseeable: the structure and coresponding ammounts of investments have changed. International transport had to cope with this large scale recession and doing so to deal with its own sectorial disfunctionalities. It was numerously underlined that management systems in transportation have to support the transport activities at global and multimodal scale not only on regional or unimodal level.
