Brexit, WTO and EU Trade Policy

The notified withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the EU (Brexit) raises numerous legal questions in various fields of law. The disentanglement of the UK from the EU's Common Commercial Policy (CCP) and the related parallel membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO) are particularly complex in that regard. The present contribution gives an overview of pertinent problems and provides some first tentative solutions.
