摘要
An efficient energy management is a key issue in battery equipped wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Clustering is attested to be an efficient method to construct hierarchical topology that can enhance the lifetime of wireless sensor network. In this paper, an energy efficient fault tolerance nested clustering algorithm (E2FNC) for the wireless sensor network is proposed. This constructs two levels of clusters to balance the energy consumption of sensors using k-means clustering approach and finds local remedies for energy suffering cluster heads. The performance of proposed algorithm is analysed and proved through the simulation experiments.
