The Reformation, reformations, and the history of religion in the 16th - 17th-century Europe

The article presents a review of a monograph by Helen L. Parish [Perish, Khelen L. Kratkaya istoriya. Reformaciya / Per. s angl. V. Feoklistovoj. Pod nauch. red. A.O. Zaxarova. M.: KoLibri, 2020. 272s.; Helen L. Parish. A Short History of the Reformation. London: I.B.Tauris, 2018]. The monograph looks into the most important historical myths about the Reformation that existed in the minds of Europeans by 2017, the year of its 500th anniversary, and compares the stereotypes with contemporary approaches to the same topics by the historians of the early Modern religion.
