摘要
This study takes into account porous tiles manufactured with different bodies and technologies, with the aim to provide a survey of their mechanical properties. The correlation among chemical and phase composition, modulus of rupture, Young's modulus, Poisson's coefficient, fracture toughness and impact resistance have been throughly investigated. The compositional and microstructural parameters which affect more significantly the mechanical performances of tiles have been pointed out.
