摘要
Multiple microelectromechanical system (MEMS) phased arrays in optical conjugation enable scanning over extended angular ranges beyond what is possible with a single device. We demonstrate this method for random access beam steering at 250 kHz using a MEMS phased array and a switchable grating modulator, achieving 4,352 resolvable lines from 2,176 line pairs over a field of view (FOV) of +/- 3.74 degrees in the Fourier plane. With projection optics, this is extended to a far-field FOV of +/- 24.7 degrees without reduction of the number of resolvable lines.
