摘要：

The pelvis of different birds shows marked structural diversity due to the different demands made on it. The pelvic girdle of emu is entirely, different from other domestic birds and even with other ratites like Ostrich and Rhea. The literature on the pelvic girdle of the emu is scanty. Hence, the present study was taken to explore the gross anatomical features of the pelvic girdle in emu.
