Pulling Up

The views of Steve C. Cripps, on the problems that are faced in imparting technical training courses, are discussed. He states that he faced significant problems in making his students understand some of the concepts of the technical curricula. He states that his facial expressions and body language played significant role in creating these problems, as these expressions confused the students. He faced many problems in explaining the difference between analog and digital concepts to his students. He adopted simplified teaching techniques, to describe the functions of capacitors to his students. It is observed that capacitors are devices that function as short-term batteries, enabling a number of these devices to be charged from a real battery and reconnect them in series.
