Flow Pattern Tracing for Velocity Measurement in Gas-solid Flows using Twin Plane Electrical Capacitance Tomography

摘要
This paper presents a concept for automatic determination of the time intervals for the flow velocity calculation using a twin-plane electrical capacitance tomography system. The concept allows the velocity of the flow to be calculated in the right and accurate way. The proposed approach based on images of instantaneous distributions of the material inside the measured volume by Electrical Capacitance Tomography and determined of the appropriate time interval, which is further used for calculation of the flow velocity. The results of the flow velocity calculation using the proposed concept for gas-solid dynamic flow regime are presented.
