摘要
Bi(NO3)(3)center dot 5H(2)O is a bench-top catalyst which is cheap, readily available, eco-friendly, versatile, and efficient for organic reactions. This catalyst was applied for synthesis of tetrahydrobenzo[a]xanthenes-11-ones in water and SDS. Short reaction times, high yields, a clean process, simple methodology, easy work-up and green conditions are advantages of this protocol.
