摘要：
The paper presents regional characteristics of the unemployment rates in Slovenia. According to the database with more than 450,000 entries, duration of unemployment spells is the longest in Zasavska region, while the unemployed in Gorenjska region are among the first to find a new job. The Kaplan - Meier estimates of the survival function confirms the significant effects of region on the duration of unemployment spells.
