The effectiveness of assistive technology for severely disabled people: Two case studies

摘要：
Appropriate assistive technology is very important to enable a severely disabled person to become as independent as possible, Interviews were conducted with two severely disabled people who used a variety of assistive technology. Subjective assessments were gathered about the use, choice, effectiveness and efficiency of selected items of technology. It was found that both participants rated highly the technology that gave them most independence.
