摘要：

In France, ten years after the publication of the Law of 4 March 2002, the information given to the patient about his lethal prognosis is still understood as a right of the patient, with the exception of the respect for its will of ignorance. The early announcement of the real death generates an ultimate suffering of the human being in the necessary movement of restoration of the threatened symbolic function so that the subjective life can persist in this last confrontation.
