摘要：
The autobiographical novel Black Boy written by Richard Wright vehemently condemns the racial discrimination for its negative effect and presents the awakening of African-American people's struggle for equality. This paper focuses on the analyses of the protagonist's behavior and his psychological activities to show how he quests for ethnic and cultural identity in a cross culture of the white and the black.
