Numerical Simulation of Flow Characteristics of Particle Agglomerates in Desulfurization Tower

摘要
In this paper, the gas-solid two-phase flow in a multi-stage spouting desulfurizer is simulated by using large eddy model and viscous particle dynamics theory. The simulation results show that the agglomeration velocity and concentration of particles in the first-order tower are high, while the agglomeration velocity and concentration of particles in the second-order tower are low. Moreover, the results show that the particles form a stable fluidization in the tower, showing a typical flow distribution trend of the ring core and realizing a stable internal circulation. In this paper, the influence of inlet gas velocity and mass flow rate on the internal circulation of desulfurization tower are also analyzed.
