摘要
In the large capacity railway system, the short-circuit fault of the catenary has a serious impact on the system. How to detect and remove faults quickly and reliably is one of the important and effective measures to increase the railway traffic volume and improve the safety and stability of the railway system. The transient components of wide band and high frequency will be produced in the process of the short circuit fault of the catenary, which are analyzed by using wavelet analysis tools. Based on the wavelet energy spectrum, wavelet energy entropy is constructed to describe the energy distribution of high frequency transient components before and after the fault. At last, Base on MATLAB simulation, the simulation results show that the wavelet energy entropy value will be abrupt when the high frequency signal is generated, so it is effective to use wavelet energy entropy for fault detection of traction power supply system.
