Resource conflicts and territory in Northern PATAGONIA. A case study in an AREA adjacent to the National Park NAHUEL HUAPI and the basin of the River NIRIHUAU (ARGENTINA)

The aim of this article is to expose a case study on the complex problems arising from a conflict for land and a project of exploitation of natural resources (hydrocarbons) in the basin of river Nirihuau bordering the National Park Nahuel Huapi, in the mountainous region of the province of Rio Negro. These conflicts, with processes of mobilization and protest, have had as protagonists both "rebel huincas" organizations of indigenous peoples.
