摘要
Fault diagnosis is an important way to ensure the safe operation of power system. Currently rule-based reasoning expert systems are widely adopted, however, whose knowledge acquiring and self-learning ability are poor. This paper proposes a substation fault diagnosis system based on case-based reasoning (CBR) and rule-based reasoning (RBR), which diagnoses fault devices by CBR and evaluates the operations of relays and breakers by RBR. The case database of the CBR system is composed of two parts: some are automatically created by RBR and the others are complex cases that are added gradually to improve the diagnosis ability. Based on mixed reasoning, the system can diagnose the fault accurately and has advanced self-learning ability which can relieve the burden of operators.
