High Speed Train-Track-Bridge Dynamic Interaction in Transition Zones

摘要
In this paper, the dynamic response of a high speed train-track-bridge system is analysed for different transition zone configurations. Transition zones appear in railway track sections that present abrupt changes in the vertical track stiffness. These sections require usual maintenance works due to track components wear or to ensure track geometry. In the current work, both the effect of the transition wedges and the use of USP on the dynamic response of the coupled system are studied. The work is focused on the use of different layers and on the dimensions of the transition wedge. The influence of the bridge flexibility will also be analysed.
