摘要
Local-world structure exists in many real-life complex networks. While rumor spreading is an important phenomenon which occurs in complex networks. The spread of rumors in local-world evolving network is investigated in this paper. Many results about the behaviors of rumor propagation are acquired by computer simulations. First, the local-world scale influences the process of rumor spreading. The rumor will survive longer and spread to more nodes with the smaller local-world scale than with the larger local-world scale in the local-world evolving network. Furthermore no matter how much the initial spreader connectivity, the final value of stiflers is same in the local-world evolving network.
